coordination with our local and regional allies
to assist affected companies during an emergency
and will serve as a central data depository for
data for economists at LSU and UL of L to do
economic impact analyses of emergencies very
quickly to expedite immediate help from state
and federal agencies after an emergency...
BERG has created a tab within Synchronist that
asks key emergency response and economic impact
related questions.
..BERG will also be able to use GIS mapping
technology to plot key trends of affected
businesses including power outages, lost sales,
jobs and payroll impacted, suppliers, etc in
cooperation with economists at the BEOC from LSU
and UL of L to show the economic loss to the
local and state governments....."
